Allocated gold, with title that traces to the mint.

Hold direct, unencumbered legal title to fractional physical gold, and prove where it came from. Stannum binds every bar to its refiner record, carries the origin through every split, merge and resale, and issues certificates anyone can verify, without counterparty risk.

From the mint to every fractional owner

The source of truth already exists: accredited refiners record the bars they mint. Stannum binds to that record and carries the origin forward through every transfer, so the link to the mint is never lost, no matter how many times a holding is split, merged or sold. Fine weight is conserved at every step, and every certificate can be verified by anyone against a public record.

1

Bind to the source

A new bar is bound to the refiner that minted it, the accredited record that says whether the bar is genuine. That binding becomes the root of its title.

2

Split, merge, transfer

Ownership moves in fractions between vetted parties. Fine weight is conserved, so totals always reconcile to the original bar.

3

Issue a certificate

Each holding carries a certificate anyone can verify against a public title record, without trusting Stannum. Identities stay sealed until disclosed.

Provenance is graded, never asserted

Each origin gets a confidence tier from the strength of its evidence. A holding inherits the weakest tier of its roots, so a weak origin cannot be laundered clean by passing through many hands.

TIER 1

Refiner-verified

Checked live against the refiner’s own authoritative record. Provenance is verifiable to the mint.

TIER 2

Document-bound

Bound by hashed assay and acquisition documents from an accredited refiner. Strong, on documents rather than a live check.

TIER 3

Declared

Origin declared, with a named party publicly accountable for the claim. The market prices the difference honestly.

One bar, many owners, one unbroken chain

A 1 000 g bar is split and resold over time. Every transfer points back to its parents, the fine weight always reconciles, and the origin is never lost.

Who it serves, and what it sits on

Stannum does not replace the existing bullion infrastructure. It sits on top of it and adds the public, owner-controlled, fractional chain of title the underlying systems do not provide.

Clients

  • Accredited refiners — the mints at the root of every bar and its authoritative record.
  • Bullion and private banks — holding allocated gold on behalf of clients.
  • Vaulting and custody operators — storing the physical metal under allocation.
  • Institutional investors and trading desks — buying, splitting and reselling fractional interests.

Suppliers

  • Refiners — supply the original bars and the authoritative mint records.
  • Accreditation & integrity bodies — supply the standard defining which refiners and bars qualify as good delivery.
  • Permissioned bullion-integrity infrastructure — supplies the source-of-truth records the top tier checks against.

Integration, not replacement

The permissioned source ledger answers one question: is the gold real. Stannum answers the other: who owns which fraction, provably, and how well the origin was proven.

Layer 3 — Public title

Owner-controlled certificates and the fractional chain of title, verifiable by anyone against a public record.

Layer 2 — Provenance grading

Confidence tiers computed from evidence; the weakest root governs a combined holding.

Layer 1 — Source binding

Each bar bound to the refiner’s authoritative record in the existing permissioned bullion infrastructure.

Title that traces to the mint, for gold that moves in fractions.

Built to sit alongside the Swiss bullion infrastructure the industry’s refiners and integrity bodies already trust.
